Peter Cocciardi is the Design Manager at Builtfast Homes, bringing more than 30 years of experience in detailing, modeling, and design management to the role. A respected leader in the Australian construction industry and abroad, Peter is widely recognized for his ability to find solutions to geometrically complex projects and for his track record in successfully delivering large-scale, technically challenging builds. Before joining Builtfast Homes, Peter headed Precision Design Australia, where he secured and delivered major contracts both domestically and internationally. His career achievements reflect his reputation as one of Australia’s most advanced practitioners in Building Information Modeling (BIM) management, 3D modeling, drafting, and steel detailing. Peter’s influence in the industry is long-standing. He served as the inaugural President of the Victorian Institute of Steel Detailers and later as State President of the Australian Institute of Steel Detailers (Vic/Tas) and Chairman of its National Committee. He has also been actively involved with the Australian Institute of Steel and is a past Member of the Institute of Company Directors (MICD). His contributions have been recognized with numerous industry awards for steel detailing and 3D modeling, as well as the 2002 Victorian Small Business of the Year Award, sponsored by Telstra.
